Finally a viable option has arrived. When I thought everything was lost and my dream would just remain just another dream; a plan has been finalized and designs for a boat will be ordered soon.
The Didi43 Pilot is a very sturdy option and hopefully will be a good companion for the long journey. The journey of a similar boat Blue Pearl gives me confidence to take this boat anywhere I would want to go. I will get in touch with Dudley soon and start following up on some custom changes I will be requiring to the design to make it from a boat needed for a family and make it a yacht I can take around the world.
Bernard Moitesseir was motivation while making my decision. His exploits with Joshua and Tamata are sailing legends. A metal boat fits the bill perfectly. Funding has partially started flowing in and plans are slowly materializing.
The Gods have shown mercy again, at a time when I was going to give up this plan seems something more achievable.
